AIANI for Students

Modern Israel Summer Program in Beer Sheva
The Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Beer Sheva offers an English-Speaking short-term program to learn the Hebrew or Arabic language every summer. The four-week program starts in July and offers, in addition to the intensive Hebrew or Arabic courses, weekly excursions and a series of daily lectures on topics of Israeli society and culture. It also presents the Israeli experience through such topics as Israeli music, literature, politics, climate policies, social structures, film, and more. For the participation at the program students might receive ECTS credits.

AIANI will support students with additional information and students can apply for an AIANI GRANT.


When: July 30th- August 31st, 2023
Where: Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Beer Sheva, Israel
Costs (including housing, study trips): approx. 2.800 €

Application DEADLINE: April 30th, 2023

Summer and Short-Term Courses in Jerusalem
The Rothberg International School (RIS) at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem offers a wide range of short-term and summer study abroad courses. These courses are designed for undergraduate and graduate students and aim to go beyond the classroom: Students from more than 90 countries around the world participate each summer and experience interesting seminars, fun activites and local trips that are designed to help explore Israel's geographic and cultural landscape.​
