Senior Lecturer and physicist, Dr. Roee Ozeri from the Department of Physics of Complex Systems of the Weizmann Institute of Science spent a month with the Department of Quantum Optics and Spectroscopy (IQOQI) of the University of Innsbruck. During his stay, Dr. Ozeri taught for the “Introductory course on quantum information”, a summer school program that took place in Innsbruck July 7-10, 2014.
He talked about and presented his work on “Quantum Error Correction”. He also gave a talk on “Weak dipolar interactions in trapped ion chains” at the IQOQI on July 24, 2014, presenting the work of the Weizmann Institute of science in his research field.
